DRAMA  THERAPY

CANY invites all mental health practitioners,  psychotherapists, counselors,
social workers & creative arts therapists  to join us for this one day
workshop.



This training workshop  will introduce you to the basic principles and
practice behind drama as a  healing modality.  You will explore the basic
tenets of the CANY model  of Drama Therapy through theory and  experiential
activities.



Participants  will...



●  Explore how the CANY model offers opportunities  for

building communities of trust

●  Experience  the drama therapy process in action

●  Begin to understand the  rationale behind the therapeutic

use of metaphor and its  practical application in healing

dramas

●   Participate in drama therapy interventions aimed at

improving client relatedness, self-esteem, emotional

expression and self-regulation, spontaneity and the capacity

to play a diverse range of life roles
