I am in agreement that my initial question did not get through
clearly and, as a result, caused unintended miscommunication.

Peter, your insightful observation about the "circumloquacious language" is
spot
on. That may be a factor that caused the ambiguity.

Another point that I wish to narrate, which is related to my original
stance, is the following:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johari_window
Since Grouptalk is a public mailing list, I was only sharing the
"Arena" room in my Johari window. Part of the groupwork that I am
doing is to access the other 3 rooms of my Johari window (viz., blind
spot, facade, unknown). My intuition tells me that discovering the
shadow side of a personality is an important part of the healing
process in a quest to become more authentic.

Perhaps the Johari window (vocabulary) is not used in mainstream
psychodrama. I
have received offline responses from some of you recommending specific
reading material.

Thank you for your encouragement. Grouptalk is definitely a resource
that is a great empathetic sounding board. We are indeed lucky!
