alternative medicine

Bud, as H. L. Mencken wrote on a postcard when he received letters objecting to his editorial comments in The American Mercury in the late 1920s, "You may be right."

I must say, though, that attributing the lack of credulity given to some claims does not always result only from a conspiracy of disinformation by the evil big business interests (nyah hah ha! just a few thousand more Viagra prescriptions by my minions selling through spam outlets and world domination will be mine! Mbwahahahahaha!)...
There may be others who are more dispassionate who may find that, frankly, those claiming miraculous results just haven't made a case for their claims.
It's not as if some of these alternative medicine approaches are inexpensive in themselves, either.

   Oh, well.... Warmly, Adam
