I see sociodrama, Theatre of the Oppressed, Drama in Education, aspects of drama therapy,
and other fields to be expanding in multiple directions:
   1. The body, its subtle dynamics, nonverbal communications, the focus of the body
therapies, the work of Susan Aaron, the recent book by Rebecca Ridge on "The Body Alchemy
of Psychodrama,"...
    2. Dance and expressive arts, Interplay and the work of Cynthia Winton-Henry, other
forms of expressive dance-movement
    3. Spirituality, the work of Natalie Winters, Connie Miller, many others who venture
into the transpersonal domains
    4. Social action theatre, consciousness-raising groups, anti-oppression,
anti-bully-ing, anti domestic violence and dating violence,
    5. Varieties of substance and addiction treatment, expanding to include rehabilitation
for other life-style disruptions, gambling, sex addiction, etc.
    6. Coaching and other forms adapting drama, improv, etc., to facilitating roles in
management, organizational morale, sales, etc.
     7. Community development and identity development (e.g., Playback Theatre)
     8. Other categories...

.. and mixtures of the aforementioned.

I invite others to offer some additions, examples, enrich this list, perhaps turn it into
an article for PNN, my website, the dramatherapy website or Dramascope newsletter (of the
NADT)
