“Teenage Drama”: Action Techniques for Therapeutic Engagement of Adolescents
When: Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

This highly experiential and playful one-day workshop will provide
participants with practical tools for introducing drama and action
techniques into their clinical work with hard-to-reach adolescents.
Participants will gain:
* Knowledge and experiential understanding of developmental
and emotional issues central to the adolescent experience.
* Perspective on how to playfully navigate transference
dynamics that commonly exist between resistant teens and clinicians.
* Practical and concrete tools to incorporate in their work.
* Information and tips on utilizing drama in conjunction with
other artistic and expressive approaches.
