This year’s theme is, *“Finding Home: Pathways to Belonging.”* We have an
exciting lineup of presenters, workshops, performances, and other events
that will inform, enrich, and enliven you.

Program Highlights:
- Keynote Speaker, *Jan Cohen-Cruz, PhD**., *a scholar, practitioner, and
teacher of grassroots, socially-grounded, and activist art will explore the
intersection of the public and private in activist and therapeutic drama,
punctuated with brief demonstrations of techniques applicable to this
pursuit. Ms Cohen-Cruz will also be offering an exciting 3 workshop
entitled
“Making a Home in the World”.
- Featured Speaker, *Dr. David Hamilton*, Executive Secretary for the NYS
Office of Professions, will take part in our first ever Advocacy Forum,
discussing the link between professional licensing issues, state
legislation, and grass-roots advocacy.
- We are offering *7 performances*, including *Robert Landy and Friends,
Hannah Fox and Big Apple Playback Theatre*, and other exciting
individuals such as *Vanitha Chandrasegaram, Wendyne Limber, Sara
McMullian & Alan Pottinger, Kareen King, and Bonnie Harnden*.
- We are offering a series of *7 workshops dedicated to the service and
treatment of elderly and aging populations on Friday and Saturday November
7
th*, covering issues of Dementia, Making Nursing Homes more like Home,
and Creative means of caring for and engaging with this ever growing
population. Registration is available for just one day for those interested
