            AUTUMN PSYCHODRAMA INTENSIVE

            During this highly experiential workshop participants will learn and practice the psychodramatic method, its structure, skills and techniques such as: 

              a.. doubling 
              a.. role reversal 
              a.. concretization 
              a.. warm ups 
            ...through structured exercises, vignettes and full psychodramas. Group members will have the opportunity to learn the 'nuts and bolts' of directing psychodrama as they work on issues from their own lives in a safe and supportive environment. They will have the opportunity to try on the roles of : 

              a.. protagonist 
              a.. auxiliary 
              a.. group member 
              a.. director 
            Group sociometry will be explored in action and sociometric interventions explained. Advanced students may have the opportunity to direct. Didactic sessions and thorough processing of the psychodramas will be included. 

            Students at all levels of experience are welcome. Provides 34 hours towards certification by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy.

            Certification and Continuing Education Units (CEUs)


            All HVPI workshops offer credit towards national certification by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama and Group Psychotherapy and can be counted toward Drama Therapy Registration. The Continuing Education Units (CEUs) provided by most of these trainings are accepted toward national credentialing by the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), the National Board of Certified Counselors, and towards re-certification by the National Registry of Group Psychotherapists. MFT, CSW and Drama Therapy CEUs are pending. Contact HVPI for details.
