I might also add that while it is totally clear to most directors that a
proper warm up ( not too hot and not too cold) is essential for proper and
relevant action for the group, too often, sharing appears to be considered,
even by many well trained psychodrama directors I have witnessed, as a kind
of necessary and less important part of the psychodrama for which they
have spent little time in perfecting and fully understanding. For me, it is
the essential aspect of psychodrama. It is the reorganizing and
acknowledgement of the reformation of the group resources to allow for
further spontaneity on everyone's part. Without this process well managed,
the action is little more than a practice of self involvement as only part
of the three part saying of Rabbi Hillel
If I am not for myself, who will be for me?
If I am for myself alone, who am I?
If not now, When?
