In case any of your are interested, it's a kind of sociatry. I'm not personally involved---have other commitments at this point---but some of you might be.
Warmly, Adam... A friend who sent this to me wrote: I send this information in hopes that you'll consider joining us! It will be an unforgettable, and rare experience. The Israeli woman working with Jewish and Arab women to bring about peace in Israel with whom I'm working will be co-presenting. For those who'd like a break from their home routine, and who want to get a massage or any of the variety of relaxing opportunities at The Crossings, you could plan to stay overnight out there as well and enjoy nature on their 300 acres near Volente beach.

All the best, Phyllis

Women and Peace-building: A

New Approach in the Middle East

A Beyond Words/AWE Workshop

Tuition: $195 | Accommodation Fees Additional

This experiential workshop is based on a new model for Peace-building

developed through cooperation between two organizations: Beyond Words

and The Accelerating Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Alliance. Beyond Words

(BW) is an organization started by Arab and Jewish facilitators in Israel. The

BW approach promotes emotional awareness, empowerment and healing

which enhances the possibility of living at peace with ourselves and others. It

also helps women and their voices and reconnect with their strength so they

can work together for social justice. AWE is an Alliance based educational

and marketing nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women, and

through them bringing about global peace and prosperity. Beyond Words

has become the first candidate in AWE's Product and Empowerment Program

("PEP"). PEP enables the women of Beyond Words to participate in a global

product distribution system and learn principles of economic freedom and

empowerment for the betterment of their community and country.

During the workshop, you will have an opportunity to experience the Beyond

Words, bio-energetics and EMDR approaches to understanding how trauma

affects the body. You will be introduced to take-home tools that can enhance

inner peace, confidence, and relationship skills. You will also hear more

about the AWE/BW initiative and how you can personally become involved

in this double empowerment program. Join us and learn how to create a good

balance between your own inner peace and working for peace in the world.
