Dear People:
Aside from the article attached about the real murderous beginnings of
Thanksgiving, I thought you should know that at least one major alternative
radio station in the US devotes most of the day of Thanksgiving to
indigenous people giving them full access to the airways to tell their own
stories and honor their Ancestors. WBAI 88.5 FM in New York City streaming
at http://stream.wbai.org/ and the entire day will be archived for listening
and downloading for 90 days at http://archive.wbai.org/

After a week past Thanksgiving, you click on the button at the bottom of
that Archive page which says "All Shows" and that opens another widow that
you can scroll to November 26th and listen or download as you like.

Be well all and have a wonderful day of thanks. Every decent human being in
their right mind knows that giving thanks regularly is one of the most
powerful things we can do for and with one another. Acknowledgment of the
gratitude we have for those who have made a difference in our lives is
possibly one of the most effective ways we have of moving forward in the
world to a more peaceful and loving planet.
Here also is one of the most moving difference making lessons that I have
ever witnessed: simple, elegant, and so effective. It's been around the
Internet before and I can't think of a better time to send it around again:

Blessings to us all, Bud
