On-line Conferences?

Dear Eric and others,
I recently attended a conference (late 2008 actually but feels recent)
on working with people who self harm. All the plenary and many of the
smaller sessions were recorded. Straight, no fuss recordings. These
were then then put together for a "live" on-line conference. I was not
recorded at the conference but submitted a proposal around role
reversal which was accepted.
The on-line conference went over a week. Different people were invited
to be available for after-sessions on-line chats. I was invited and
had about 20 minutes of fairly slow but quite decent discussions. The
process raised $30,000 for a children's services organisation.
My video can be viewed here: http://www.morenocollegium.com.au/moreno_collegium_its_purpose_origins_and_future_and_development_campus_life/students_area_2009/dvd_d
I worked with my partner and invited some others to be part of the
group but only one person showed and it worked OK-ish. It certainly
worked for the protagonist, who is also a Sociodramatist and TEP in
training. I am putting this forward as not an "either-or" scenario but
rather a building on of what is already being done. Confidentiality
was handled differently by different people. We changed the names and
were considerate about what we presented. It will never be a full one
process.
It can be seen throughout the world. We could do the first
international psychodrama conference - online.
Cheers from over here
