great singer (Israeli living in Germany) named Esther Ofarim with
beautiful renditions of Ladino songs, one of which is even on Youtube,
named 'Adios Querida.' "

There are several songs sung by Esther Ofarim on www.Youtube.com.  Just
enter her name in the search box and experience a wonderful voice.  Don't
miss her rendition of "Speak Low".  I don't think you will ever hear a
better one. And the rest are equally great.
