traveling trainers

I was recently chatting with a trainer of psychodrama I know who travels to other
countries or regions, and it occurred to me to pass some thoughts on to you as well.
I imagine that many trainers might increase the effectiveness of their work by
adding a component of positive networking. That would involve some or all of the
following:
       1. Have and give out membership forms for national and international psychodrama
groups or the IAGP. Say something about these groups, so that people attending can
follow-up, attending future psychodrama or group psychotherapy conferences.
       2. Obtain the names of those attending---especially those who might want to be
notified---and pass them along again to membership committees of national and
international organizations, so as to generate an outreach potential.
       3. Mention or have a one-page handout designed that would include some of the more
accessible websites for follow-up.
               a. Those that are in the language of those attending. Or /and their second
language.
               b. (consider having IAGP-PD website, if in Europe, FePTO website; or other
regional websites, plus Adam Blatner's multi-faceted website www.blatner.com/adam/ )
       4. Perhaps mention some books that might teach in the language of the country being
visited.

The point is to help encourage the participants to follow-up on their learning.
It might also be interesting for some international newsletter to record and
announce that trainer X did workshop y on date (or approximate date) for group z with z'
number of people.

Hope this promotes more networking. Adam Blatner
