Moreno's sociometry: a wake up call

It occurs to me that one way to advance the application of the
methodology, the science of sociometry (and I would add sociatry)
might be to have a focus on sociometric procedures for a conference.
I know for example that the ASGPP received a report from CEP, the
consulting firm, suggesting that every other year we host not a
conference, but a sort of academy or university, with an emphasis on
method and deeper learning. The other years would be, they
suggested, a conference as we know it.

The urgency with which I feel the world situation calls us to
reinvent our structures to address all of mankind as the systems we
know of change before our eyes. In Amherst, Massachusetts the local
newspaper last week reported, in its front page, that the science is
now reporting to the Obama administration that we have "crossed the
tipping point" with climate change. The 34 million refugees are just
the beginning of what might be a human catastrophe with weather and
climate change and rising seas.

It takes the kind of leadership that Ann is suggesting I feel for us
to move forward. Thank you again Ann.
