awards nominations due August 1st!

Dear All, (especially in the USA)  just a reminder, because the times have been ambiguous in people's minds. The due date for nomination as best as I can determine is NOT   August 31st but a month    EARLIER    -- August 1st. So now is the time to think about this. 

     Please review those who have been on ASGPP committees, helped plan conferences, been on the Board of Examiners' Board or among the people reading exams, active in building regional chapters. If they've been members at least 5 years, let's make sure that they are nominated at least for Fellowship!  

    One thing that can vivify our organization a bit is to up the degree to which we think about each other, support each other, respond to each other. Reciprocity is an important part of tele and we need to will ourselves, remind ourselves, to do it, even though we're busy with our own affairs. We also need to remind ourselves that others, though they seem self-sufficient, are in fact in need of more strokes. Everyone is. (The illusion that others don't need our reciprocity is part of early-mid adolescent denial and transference, especially regarding parents.)
