writing up ideas

Dear all, there is just so much great stuff going on! One of our colleagues, Sylvia
Israel, in the San Francisco Bay Area, is doing a workshop on ethics. I wrote to her: It
would make a great paper for your website or mine or journal to simply identify more
specifically the kinds of issues of ethics that come up, the ambiguities, the borderline
situations, in which one person thinks he's being ethical but others don't agree... those
are the tricky ones we need to recognize. So just listing, describing what makes them a
dilemma---that would be really helpful.
The other workshop is also good, the inner critic and best friend work. I'd love to
hear what you think about these themes.

... I think there are many of you who are doing workshops and there is also content---your
warm-up or introduction before, and anecdotes or case studies of the work done at the
workshop, which can be thoroughly disguised, mixed with other situations, but the key is
to help us know what issues to watch for. There continues to be a sore need for written
materials, on websites if not in the journal. Warmly, Adam

P.s. another reminder to think about who deserves more recognition and an
Award from the ASGPP and to nominate someone, or if you think you do, ask someone to
nominate you.
