Hello colleagues in psychodrama---especially those who are in the USA / Canada and are members of the ASGPP: 

     Please again remember to talk to all those in your psychodrama networks---all those who don't belong to grouptalk or read it very often, or who don't read the ASGPP Forum: Now is the time to think about, prepare, and submit nominations for the 2010 ASGPP conference ASGPP awards.
 
        In our economic recession people tend to get busy trying to earn a living, drawn into themselves. We can take responsibility to offer a measure of leadership and communicate our presence and encouragement. I don't doubt that many people within and beyond our field need such encouragement and recognition, even if folks are too proud to ask for it or even to register consciously that they do need it.
   Doubling for a great part of our world: "Does anyone care about me? Does anyone care about each other?" Such feelings accumulate subconsciously. There's so much we can do to counter that by reaching out, and nominating someone (or several) can be a tiny but meaningful gesture.
