Kate Kirk kate.kirk at manx.net sent this to pass along to y'all: Action Speaks Louder... BPA (British Psychodrama Association) Conference this coming year will be held on Friday 25th – Sunday 27th June 2010, at the Royal Agricultural College Cirencester, so here is a REQUEST FOR WORKSHOPS
The theme is: Action Speaks Louder.
  About the Theme: .
Psychodrama psychotherapists, sociodramatists and practitioners who use action methods, in different context, believe that
a.. Action does speak louder than words.
b.. Action is all about life, from conception to death.
c.. Action is more effective in changing beliefs about self, or systems, or in acquiring new skills and gaining understanding.
d.. Action can be applied in many different ways and settings.
e.. Action makes people really take notice of what is happening, rather than solely listening, and perhaps missing what’s going on.
Moreno is reputed to say “Show me...” This study day aims to do just that with presenters from different backgrounds presenting or ‘showing’ evidence from their research and practice.

The Royal Agricultural College was established in 1845, in the Cotswold countryside, purpose built to promote the "Advantages of a Specific Education for Agricultural Pursuits". The College motto is 'Avorum Cultus Pecorumque', a quote from Virgil's Georgics it means 'Caring for the Fields and the Beasts’. Though much of the College’s focus remains on matters agriculture, it has moved with times and is a beautiful conference venue. Take a look at the stunning Victorian buildings and its glorious setting on http://www.rac.ac.uk/.
