Hi Everyone,

I hope this finds you well and that 2009 brings us all a sense of hope and
renewal.  I am pleased to announce that in February I am co-facilitating a
wonderful workshop called *Mastering the Meaning of Mandalas* with
psychologist Alysa Muller.  We had a wonderful turn out last year and
received extremely positive feedback on this training. We hope you will join
us. Please see the enclosed attachment for the flyer and registration
form.   This 3 day workshop is sponsored by George Washington University Art
Therapy Program and *offers 22 NBCC CEUs.*

*Brief overview:*

Mastering the Meaning of Mandalas is both experiential and didactic and
focuses on the drawn mandala.  It is designed for clinicians who are
interested in learning and/or deepening their understanding of Joan
Kellogg's life cycle theory and its application to the drawn mandala. This
training provides therapists with an opportunity to learn how to interpret
and provide feedback on drawn mandalas, a skill they can immediately begin
to use with clients.

*Who can benefit:*
Therapists from various backgrounds including: psychotherapists, clergy, art
therapists, music therapists, education professionals, alternative healing
professionals, etc.

This training serves a wide population of clinicians. It has something to
offer those who have minimal to no mandala experience, as well as those who
have extensive knowledge in mandalas either personally or
professionally.  Additionally, it can benefit those who have had MARI
training (but have not been actively using it or feel they need more
trianing in it) and/or use expressive music, art, guided imagery and music
(GIM), etc. in their practice with clients.

* For those who have been actively using the MARI cards, another workshop is
being offered in March which is designed for folks who have had extensive
experience with the MARI and would like a refresher and mandala intensive.
