Yes. Well, I found mindgame on wikipedia and its plot is nothing whatsoever like Moreno or psychodrama. I mean, Moreno was unusual in his approach, but the plot of this play is an absurd caricature of psychiatry and really, in my opinion, a 1960s kind of theme of let's play with mental illness as if it were weird, and anyone could be malicious or mad.
Most mental illness is not latent or obvious criminality, and that which is tends to be not all that devious. (See interesting book by Dr. Fuller Torrey titled "The Insanity Offense")
the only association is with Moreno and theatre and changing roles, but it wasn't devious and any association with psychodrama is most unfortunate. Guilt by association.
A number of artists have used this trope of who is really the crazy one and it's pretty shallow and lame, in my opinion.
I could write quite an essay on what is in my opinion actually pretty crazy in our world, but part of the madness is that large numbers of people believe in various crazy ideas.
1. the myth of strength, warrior power, is how politics should happen. diplomacy is only for wussies.
There have been a few episodes where folks got away with this, or that they didn't mind what war did to their country, even if they won. But most people who have to live with the results realize that you don't really conquer another person in the long run---speaking of marriage and raising kids. and so forth.
warmly, adam

As you may already know, the new play by Anthony Horowitz, Mindgame, now playing at the Soho Playhouse in New York, is based almost entirely on Moreno and psychodrama (a very corrupt interpretation, but still). Best wishes, Marvin Carlson
