Our request is to form a working committee to address the issue of  
the conference and the conference format.  It sounds as though you  
both are interested!  The working committee we are proposing to the  
ASGPP is not the conference committee, nor the council, it is a  
working committee to examine the location, place and structure of the  
conference itself.  I am told by John that the agenda item might not  
"fit" into the ASGPP Annual Meeting.  But then, what's the meeting  
for, if not to allow members to propose a working committee? We are  
suggesting we form a working group.  The conference can take a leap  
if we have the strength and courage.
