A program I am involved in

Hi all,

Given our venturing into extra dimensions of cyber space I thought I
would let you know about something that I have been involved in.

It happened this way: There was a "People who self-harm" conference; I
ran a session where practitioenrs reversed roles with their client
group in order to reduce their fears around their clients; this went
down very well - using interview for role and a Mario Cossa style
Panel arrangement - very sociodramatic; most sessions were viedoed,
mine wasn't; they developed an online conference using the plenary and
other famous speakers videoed clips; they invited extra presentation;
I offered a curt down session on the value of role reversal and
interviewing for role; they accepted it and I was videoed doing a
session before camera interviewing someone invited for the job; it
will be presented along with the other sessions described below; they
reckon they are running out of IT capacity; all funds are going to
Kids Help Line.

All this means is that I wil be online at 15:40 Brisbane Eastern
Standard Time - a session called "The Power of Role Reversal and
Psychodramatic techniques" followed by an online chat room style
process for answering questions. I haven't seen the video yet but it
may all look like a blooper tape. Nevertheless it presents psychodrama
as a way to work with people along with more standard format.

Of course it is a great marketing process for the organisation doing
it. But it does expand the realms of how this cyber caper can work.

I hope to be able to get a copy and put it on our web site after the
fact.

Cheers for now

Peter in Brisbane
