But why do you have to choose Regina (between art and science), if you can
have both? I feel that we, as human beings, always tend to cut the process
in small pieces and decide what piece do we prefer, being the process life
itself. It doesn't have to be this way. Of course in a given time in history
we had to go for the cut to discern what's "really" going on. We stop to see
the elephant as such but decide to cut him in infinite pieces. The problem
is that we lost sight of the whole elephant. The result is that now people
are claiming with each other without agreement that they have the truth
without realizing they are not seing the elephant anymore, but just a small
part of it.
As with your strugle for research, I understand that. I work in a economic
research department and what I feel more and more is that what we' re doing
right now is very far away from the "elephant"...the poor animal is sick by
the way...did you notice...? :-)
