Hi Louise, these are interesting programs. If there is anyone in your group / team / students who might function in the role of note-taker / amanauensis / writing up high points of these programs, this in turn could be turned into some papers that would be of use to the community.
What issues come up as you do these sessions? What do the doubles discover? (i.e., what are the hidden attitudes that get brought to the surface in various predicaments?)
What techniques have been found to be more or less useful in warming up or processing various kinds of problems?

These and other questions continue to be alive in my mind as I ponder the state of the field. Issues of consensus, differences of style, and the like have rarely been discussed openly, with the specifics identified.
I've been writing about the history of medicine (papers on my website) and the progress of a field of endeavor continues to impress me with how many different aspects need to be aligned in order to develop the field professionally.

While your announcement is the occasion for this email, really, it's addressed equally to the whole psychodrama community, encouraging everyone to do likewise.

      Good wishes, Warmly, Adam

  Subject: Weekend Psychodrama February 2009

  Dear Folks:
I just wanted to remind you that this coming weekend is our February Psychodrama Weekend. We will be having an open session on Friday night with Roberto Cancel, using Moreno's wonderful sociodramatic technique of The Living Newspaper. With the exciting year we have been having, with the election and the start of a new era in American politics, as well as the economic meltdown, this should be an interesting, provocative evening.
On Saturday we will be looking at the challenges of intimacy and how we participate in relationships. I hope you can all join us. For these two exciting workshops.
Our February bargain is that if you come to the Friday workshop you can also come to the Saturday workshop for 1/2 of the fee.
Looking forward to seeing you on the weekend.
  Warmly,
  Louise

  PSYCHODRAMA

  Saturday Workshop

  2009

This year in our Saturday Psychodrama Training Workshops we will utilize Jacob Moreno’s Role Theory to focus on relationships, family issues, addictions, identity and the stories our bodies have to tell us. While engaging in personal growth and psychodrama training, participants will also learn the theory and techniques of psychodrama, sociometry and group psychotherapy.

This month we will be looking at the many challenges of intimacy. How do we engage in healthy relationships? How do we change old relationship patterns? How do we make more satisfying choices? What is our part in the building of intimacy in relationships? Come join us to find out.
