Photo Directory

Dear All, 
     I don't need to be the only one posting photos, though you're welcome to send photos AND CAPTIONS and I'll put them up. 

One friend was reticent, a mixture of modesty and a sense that the work is what is important, not the ego of the director. I responded to him as follows, sort of:  

    It's not just about you. Our international community participates in the existential status of the postmodern era----spread out, often away from the small town life of a century past--- and more than we realize, a bit alienated. 
        Moreno's ideal of sociometry aimed to counter this, I think. 

     One small tool is the idea of using mass media (i.e., the internet) to counter that alienation a bit, helping people with a socio-telic connection (i.e., common interest) put names together with faces.   So the point of photos---close up, not large group---with captions---  is simply to offer some photo recognition of face as a component of developing tele in an internet world, to build a slightly enhanced sense of group cohesion in our international community. It's a small step.
     This doesn't need to be on my website--- it would be fine if you host names with photos on many websites....
