Dear Jenny,
I can't point you to any specific references, but I thought it might be 
helpful to state my understanding of Moreno's concept of 
psychopathology...which is simply inadequate spontaneity in a role. Now that 
might not fly in the face of the DSM IV, but I have found it very helpful in 
working with seriously disturbed people without resorting to 
psychopathologizing them.
