FW: dramatherapy? Psychodrama? Whatever?

I really think that at his best, he would be into the frame of the Words of
the Father. That is at his best. Of course, I can't speak for him. I think
what is important in acknowledging him as the progenitor of the various spin
offs is that then more people would look at these and discover more and
more. I am not sure that for example, the great Brazillian activist and
creator of such wonderful action methods, Augusto Boal gave full
acknowledgement to Moreno and that in spite of the fact that Zerka actually
awarded him acknowledgement of the highest order at one of the International
Congresses of Group Psychotherapy back in the 90s.
I had looked forward to a meeting with him a few years ago when he was
coming to the US for a tour and then he had to return home as he was having
some serious problems with his legs. I was appalled at the fact that the
congress that was held in Brazil did not acknowledge him or have him
presenting or someone from his group present there. I actually boycotted the
convention because of that as well as for some other reasons that it seemed
so conservative in its program.
Had Boal really gotten more into psychodrama and sociometry in particular,
his methods could have expanded even to greater heights.
So, that's my take on it all at present. For sure, I am personally offended
having to do at least in part as I saw Moreno as my father in this field and
despite some serious disappointments at times, he remains in that position
and his picture is on my altar at which I say some prayers every night and
day.
Be well, Blessings, Bud
