Moreno History (sort of)

Ladino is name of the Sephardic language.  Seattle has large Sephardic community and I have heard this name for the language.  Not sure, but Ladinisch sounds like a yiddish version of name for "Ladino"; only a guess.

  could someone explain to me the term "Ladino-speaking Jews".  My grand-grandfather spoke "Ladinisch" and moved from a northern part of Italy. Some told me that Sephardic Jews spoke the same but I still wonder if it is the same.
