I have been thinkng about a revision of Donna Little's and my monograph Sociometric Processing of Action Events in terms of a section on attachment theory. I can imagine asking during a processing session (1) "What role might you have wanted or taken in this recent psychodrama which could have helped you embody an aspect of your own story as it relates to incompletions in your parental attachment story?" (2) "At any time in the drama were you anxious? Is there a way you might have been active in the drama which would have brought you closer to the action so you might have had more exposure to this state and experienced the eventual lessening of this tension?" (3) "During the choice of protagonist, was there an issue you now realize you actually want to avoid? To what do you tie the avoidance? (4) To the director: "Are there times during the work with this protagonist when you felt a shift in a state of secure attachment? How have you made sense of this in terms of attachment theory.

Any comment is appreciated. It will be awhile before I get on with a revision, but I do want to incorporate any new learning in the way I work as a trainer. Ann Hale
