The reality of inner life

Hi folks,

I have been struck with the place of the subjective in my recent
wanderings in the forest with the dogs. And I have concluded that
often in popular movie moments, popular writing and popular culture
(religious and secular) there is a suggestion that objectivity is more
real than subjectivity. You know the moments: a strong opinion or
strongly held perspective or way of seeing things is discounted by
saying that it is all “subjective” or “just your opinion”. Of course
it would never occur on this email forum :) Before long there are
references to authorities and thought leaders and various writings. I
have been noticing that my work, on one level, leads me to value a
person's world view and "subjective" experience and that this valuing
may be my biggest contribution on earth so far. Anyway I have a nifty
blog on this subject if you have a few minutes to read and challenge
or stimulate me in this area. It can be found here : http://www.morenocollegium.com.au/blog

Cheers for the moment
