Do you have a link to that page?  That sounds interesting.  I am certain I have an inner brat.  I hope I don't have to give up laughing at farts, though.

A year or so ago I wrote a paper for my website titled "the inner brat," 
describing 10 illusions that children naturally develop, but then, ideally, 
should grow beyond, mature out of. Alas, many adults continue to carry these 
illusions as part of their core beliefs, although they tend to be unconscious—or 
at least they don’t immediately generate the cognitive dissonance they richly 
deserve: "Hey, that is a really, really, UN-realistic expectation!" 
I’ve begun to form two other papers, the inner twerp, and the inner jerk, 
speaking of more complex yet equally pervasive sets of illusions that are 
developed in the cognitive apparatus of people in (respectively) their teens and 
their young through-middle adulthood. I would welcome your input.
