I wanted to let all of you know  about some workshops at The Psychodrama & 
Creative Arts Therapy Institute,  NYC this fall. We have Saturday Workshops and 
are bringing back Open Friday  Night Sessions. Our first Friday night will be 
this coming Friday, followed by  our first Saturday of the Fall. Roberto C
ancel is running the Friday  nights.

This year in our  Saturday Psychodrama Training Workshops we will utilize 
Jacob Moreno’s Role  Theory to focus on relationships, family issues,  
addictions, identity and the stories our bodies have to tell us. While engaging  in 
personal growth  and psychodrama training,  participants will also learn the 
theory and techniques of psychodrama,  sociometry and group psychotherapy. Each  
workshop will be a unique  opportunity to grow personally and professionally, to 
stretch and develop new  roles to meet life’s challenges with creativity and 
spontaneity.

Leader:   LOUISE LIPMAN, TEP,  LCSW,  CGP  is  a licensed psychotherapist and 
a certified  Trainer, Educator, Practitioner of Psychodrama, Sociometry and 
Group  Psychotherapy,  She is in  private practice in N.Y.C. where  she works 
with individuals, couples and groups.  She is the Director of Training at the 
Psychodrama & Creative Arts Therapy  Institute, NYC. Louise  leads  12  Step 
Psychodrama Workshops and has facilitated  groups for female Survivors  of 
Childhood Trauma. She  teaches a Literature Review and Exam Prep Course for 
Psychodrama  certification,  as well as facilitating weekly Psychodrama Training 
Groups.  She integrates her extensive background in theater and the creative arts 
into  her practice. Louise  is a  Past President  of  the American Society of 
Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama. She is the current President  of the NYC 
chapter of the ASGPP.  She is a member of The American Board of Examiners for 
Psychodrama, Sociometry  & Group Psychotherapy. Louise is a Certified Group 
Psychotherapist from the  American Society of Group Psychotherapy.

This  year we are once again offering the Friday Night Open Psychodrama 
Series.  The Friday night series is an excellent  opportunity for participants to 
experience Psychodrama, learn about the method  and explore personal issues in 
a supportive atmosphere. All are welcome. Come  and experience a fun, creative 
& thought provoking evening.

Roberto  Cancel  LMSW,  TEP, MA 
is  both a Psychodramatist and a Drama Therapist. He is active in Playback 
Theatre  as well. He is currently in private practice at The Psychodrama & 
Creative  Arts Therapy Institute, NYC where he works with individuals and groups. 
Roberto  served on The American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry & 
Group  Psychotherapy. He co-chaired the ASGPP annual Psychodrama Conference 
in2007 in  Brooklyn, NY. In 2003, Roberto received the Zerka T. Moreno Award 
from the  ASGPP. He is bilingual (fluent in Spanish) and conducts bi-lingual  
psychodrama therapy & training groups. He is the Director of Bilingual  
Psychodrama Services at The Psychodrama & Creative Arts Therapy Institute,  NYC.
