Many of you know that I have a strong interest in marketing and practice
building and that I have written a PNN column on practice building for a
couple of years and have been doing coaching for psychodramatists and other
helping professionals (often using psychodrama) on public relations,
marketing, practice building, etc. In light of these activities, I am very
interested in this Washington Post article about Sarah Palin's so-called
executive experience and the power of marketing:

In the interest of fair disclosure, I am no fan of Sarah Palin and
definitely planning to vote for Barack Obama. However, I think this article,
which appears to be well researched, as identifying the ultimate in
marketing. I think it says a lot about why so many health professionals, and
others, have learned to become suspicious of marketing or see marketing as
"spin" rather than authentic opportunity to educate and inform.
