Assistant/Associate Professor of Counselor Education/School Counseling at Mississippi State University (9-month tenure-track) in the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology beginning January 2009 or August 2009. Summer teaching may be available. All M.S., Ed.S., and Ph.D. programs are accredited by CACREP or CORE. 

Responsibilities include: teaching graduate School Counseling master’s core and doctoral courses; supervising practicum/internships; advising graduate students; providing school/university service; maintaining active research agenda and publication record; obtaining external funding; and participating in professional organizations. 

Required Qualifications: doctorate in Counseling/Counselor Education with an emphasis in School Counseling; demonstrated potential for scholarly publications and grant attainment. 

Preferred Qualifications: graduate of/or experience in a CACREP program; school counseling experience; higher education teaching experience. ABDs who will complete the doctorate in one year are also encouraged to apply.
