This taken from the forum, dated 9/29/08: (I guess I'll have to play this role for a while... sigh). I had nominated this man for the Zerka T. Moreno Award a few years ago, but they don't give the award to non-ASGPP members. What this announcement doesn't say is that his book on Theory & Practice of Group Counseling is one of the most widely used books in the vast field of training of counselors, and he has had a chapter devoted to psychodrama as one of the components of integrative counseling for at least 15 years, updating it periodically. (I'm happy to have served as one of his consultants in keeping up with changes in the field, new books, etc.).
So Dr. Corey may be the one who has done more than anyone else to keep psychodrama known in the wider world of psychodrama. (Ray Corsini, now 94, a past president of the ASGPP and a past ZTM Award winner, co-edited Current Psychotherapies with Danny Wedding and he also advocated in this fashion and brought the field to the attention of the wider profession.)

Members and Friends,
The Executive Council voted unanimously to create a policy that requires ads be paid for prior to their being included in the PNN or Annual Conference Brochure. Those of you considering advertising in the '09 conference brochure be aware of this policy change.
Advertisers will be invoiced and payment will have to be received by October 15.
I ask for your support in this change as the council attempts to move the organization to operating more efficiently and fiscally responsible.
Thank you , John Rasberry President ASGPP
Adam: Gee, I wonder again how many in our membership is getting this. Is there any way for us to find out?
Here's another idea: Post on the PNN newsletter an interim column for links to the forum. HM?
