[HV Psychodrama]

Dear Psychodrama Community,
   Mary Bellofatto, TEP has been going to Rwanda and Uganda for several years, now, working with the survivors of genocide. She has begun to work with the teachers and relief workers who work with the child soldiers who have experienced some of the most horrendous trauma human beings have ever perpetrated on one another. One of the huge issues is that these children and adolescents have forgotten how to play. 

Mary attended the workshop I offered in Florida last month on Childwork/Childplay. While she left with many  ideas and hand outs on using action methods with children, it occurred to me that hat there are a number of books on using drama therapy and psychodrama with children and teenagers which would be very helpful in her work.

Mary goes as a volunteer, using our method to help heal these wounded hearts. She even pays her own way. It would be of huge help if we could provide the psychodrama and drama therapy books that focus on working with children and teenagers so that she can then use to help train these relief workers.

Mental Health Resources is willing to give us the books at cost and pay for shipping them to Mary.
I have pulled together a list of about twelve books. If you would be interested in helping, please send a check made out to Omega to Mary Bellofatto 356 valley stream circle, Naples,Fl 34113. Mary will make sure you get a receipt for tax purposes as Omega is a non profit charitable organization.
