Holiday Haikus Offered

In response to, and in addition to, Rosalie, Ed, and Bud's holiday  
poems:
I offer the simplest poems I know and love so much, the haiku:


Holiday Season,
Already upon me now,
Gifts and cards for all!!??


Holiday Season–
Lit nights and cheer spreading forth,
to each shining face.


"Bah humbug!" I say,
Too much cheer and altruism;
Now get back to work!


Facing a New year,
With so much uncertainty,
Keeping my head UP.
