As I've told him, I don't believe full-scale psychodrama is possible thru videoconferencing. I would never attempt to direct a protagonist who wasn't in the same physical time/place, for many cogent reasons-----inter alia there are aspects of live presence (tele) that video/audio simply doesn't pick up---thus resulting most likely in incomplete doubling; I need to be able to move throughout the actual space (as do all group members); the protagonist, as well as the rest of the group need to feel my presence; 2 persons cannot role reverse thru the videocamera, thus live encounter is impossible ..... &c&c.
However, I've made him a proposal to do a brief "Preparation for Psychodrama" course thru v-c: certain warmups, history, intro to doubling & role reversing; role presentations & interviews &c. ---- as a warmup to actual training. --- and with only a small group. I think that could be feasible. We'll see what evolves.

however, I will avoid any protracted e-discussions should they arise --- even beyond my next Bangladesh excursion (Jan. 7 - 25) and added in response to Adam's saying: I think I agree with you, but also I agree that certain kinds of elements of psychodrama can be explored through email or video-conferencing.: HP: yes, I think some elements could be explored---far better thru v-c, I think, and if one is very judicious & careful about what to present---AND careful to emphasize to participants that this is NOT the 'whole show'
