Dear Colleagues
Because there has been some questioning, I would like to clarify that The Second International Sociodrama Conference is not an IAGP Conference, since
IAGP events must have a representation of all the Sections involved in the IAGP such as Psychodrama, Groupanalysis, Organizational, Family Therapy and
Transcultural. This Sociodrama Conference is organized by a local Sociodrama Intervision Group in Sweden and Finland and with the support of
another Portuguese Intervision Sociodrama Group that organized the first one with the sponsoring of the Portuguese Psychodrama Society (SPP).
Organization committee for this Conference: Monica Westberg, Kerstin Jurdell, Eero Julkunen, Per Henriksson, Judith Teszary,

An intervision group with participants from Sweden and Finland now have the pleasure to invite you to the Second International Sociodrama Conference on
a boat from Stockholm to Helsinki. In the capital of Finland we stay at a hotel for one night.
At this conference we will promote the professional network in order to clarify how sociodrama can be used as an excellent method for various group
contexts, like in education, business, organisations and health care.
The sea separates and unites Sweden and Finland, and you need a boat to "reach the other side". The sea is a no mans land, unpredictable, even
dangerous but also very beautiful.
As a metaphor we have to travel over deep and unknown waters to heal ourselves and our society. The main challenge is to have both hope and
courage to encounter the shadows of society like ethnic, gender and class conflicts, poverty as well as climate and ecological changes.
Sociodrama is an action method for change. The whole group is involved dealing with important questions to increase understanding of the system and
create new ways of relating.
