Hi Ramu,
Have you checked www.pdbib.org? to check out other research. I'm not acquainted with any off hand.
Can you be specific about how you imagine psychodramatic methods having any relevance to web-based interactions? I'm not even warmed up to the specific questions. My initial take is that these ideas have little or no relevance, but I may well be mistaken! So I'll be interested in scenarios that you describe showing how they could be useful. Warmly, Adam

Subject: Psychodrama and Web-based Interactions
John Kao, author of a recently published book titled "Innovation Nation", wrote in a recent issue of KM World, July/Aug 2008:
"There is no steward for the innovation agenda. Basically we need to water the roots. And then we need to figure out who's going to be responsible, and we need to give them the aegis to be able to figure out a plan and to start building the necessary actions to implement that plan."
I'd like to obtain references to papers and/or books that describe how psychodrama is being applied to enhance creativity and spontaneity in Web-based interactions (or electronic social networks). For the past two decades, I have been mostly with teams in software development environments. I have noticed that increasingly face-to-face interactions are being superceded by electronic interactions, which at an atomic level is a "blog" of sentences and emoticons (aka email threads). While emoticons are humorous with a limited set of icons, they are not as rich as the repertoire of human emotions.
Although I am stating a known fact, I wish to respect the individual choices of various individuals in both colocated and geographically-dispersed settings who wish to leverage the power of technology during team coordination and collaboration.
It might turn out to be a great opportunity to integrate psychodrama in electronic social networks.
Thanks for any feedback.
Ramu
